October 3, 2024: Book Discussion (In Person in Doheny Library Room 240 and Streamed as a Live Webinar)
Starting off the academic year — The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt
Are today’s generation of young adults different from previous generations, when it comes to anxiety and mental health?
What has been the impact of early exposure to the 24-hour social media environment? What are some of the ways media use shapes our psychological well-being, and our skills in navigation in-person relationships?
Join USC experts — including Dr. Kelly Greco, the embedded therapist for the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism — for a lively discussion, using Jonathan Haidt’s groundbreaking book, “The Anxious Generation” as a springboard for this important topic.
